one of my most loved spots....with some of my loves

Oh today was wonderful, a lazy day spent at home then a trip to the folks. On the drive out, I decided to make a mini shoot for the girls at the lake. One of my favorite places in the whole world. I've spent my fair share of time there, and now my kids are finding a love for it as well.

Taylor is going to be a Senior in the fall. She loves her horse, and rodeo! So, I grab my camera and off to the rodeo I go for some sr. pics (my first photo shoot) :)

Summer Days

I love summer days, summer weekends, just summer in general. The sun that warms your skin, the fresh air that flows through the house. Line dried sheets. The sounds of laughter coming from the kids after they caught fireflies. Oh how I love summer.

This is Mack, he's my 2 year old German-American Rottwieler. He thinks he's a 90 lb. lap dog! He's enjoying his bone in this photograph. I love how the black and white photo brings out his colors.

Another entry for this week. Baby Kenna was outside one afternoon with mom and I couldn't resist grabbing my camera for a quick photograph.

I finally was able to take the time to take a few pictures of my beautiful new neighbor. She's quiet, sweet and oh so special. I forgot to mention that she's only a month old. She and her mom was outside on the swing when I grabbed the camera for just a few pictures and ended up with some amazing photos her mother LOVES.
